Pre-Wax Preparation & Policies. 

Please review the following pre-wax preparation guidelines and appointment policies carefully prior to booking your appointment. By accepting and confirming your appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with all policies and preparation requirements outlined below. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these policies, please reach out prior to confirming your appointment.

There’s parking on the street in front or the back. If you’re in the back, it’s the double green doors all the way to the right, there’s address numbers above the doors. Send me a text when you’re parked, so i can come open whichever door you’re at. 

1- Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show

Your business and continued support are greatly appreciated. Each appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, I kindly ask that you provide 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please take advantage of the appointment confirmation text message I send out 48/72 hours prior to your appointment to communicate any scheduling changes as soon as possible. Once you have no showed/cancelled a same day appointment, ALL future appointments will have to be pre-paid & cancellation fee amount paid before a new appointment is scheduled.

Once your appointment has been confirmed by you, the following policies apply:

Cancellations/Rescheduling requests made 24 hours or more before your appointment, your deposit may be transferred to your rescheduled appointment, subject to availability.

Cancellations/Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your appointment or the day of, after you have already confirmed your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to book any future appointment.

No-shows: Failure to show up to your scheduled appointment will result in a 100% cancellation fee based on the full amount of the reserved service.

Same-day cancellations, is considered a No-Show and will result in a 100% cancellation fee based on the full amount of the reserved service. Same day cancellations also apply to cancelling due to starting your Menstrual cycle. 

Menstrual Cycle, Beginning your menstrual cycle on the morning of your appointment, or after your appointment has already been confirmed, or being on your period does not prevent you from receiving your scheduled waxing service. You are welcome to wear a tampon/cup/diagram during your appointment, and we can proceed with your service as scheduled. If for any reason, you are not comfortable wearing a tampon/cup/diagram and choose not to proceed with your confirmed appointment, the appointment will be considered a no-show. In accordance with the booking policy, it would be considered 100% cancellation fee before another appointment will be booked and all future appointments are prepaid.

2- Showering & Skin Preparation
Please avoid showering or bathing within 1 hour prior to your appointment. Freshly showered skin can retain moisture and soften the hair, which may make it more difficult for the wax to properly grip and remove the hair. You may shower the night before your appointment. Please arrive with clean, completely dry skin and do not apply lotion or body oils the morning of your appointment. For underarm waxing, please do not apply deodorant, antiperspirant, or other products to the underarm area on the morning of your appointment.

3- Appropriate Clothing
Please wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment. Recommended options include cotton yoga pants, dresses, skirts, shorts, or maxi dresses. Please avoid tight-fitting clothing, sweats, jeans, or restrictive garments immediately following your wax, as freshly waxed skin needs to breathe and may be more sensitive. For Men: After a chest or back wax, loose-fitting cotton shirts are recommended to minimize friction and irritation. 

4- Timeliness
Please arrive on time or up to 5 minutes early for your appointment. A 5-minute grace period is provided after your scheduled appointment time. Arrivals more than 5 minutes late may result in the appointment being forfeited, as there may not be sufficient time to complete the service. In this case, the appointment will be subject to the applicable cancellation/no-show policy, and the full service amount will remain due.

5- Medications & Skin Sensitivities
Please inform me prior to your appointment of any prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, topical treatments, or other products you are currently using. Certain medications and topical treatments can increase skin sensitivity and may affect whether waxing is appropriate or safe. Providing this information in advance helps ensure your skin is properly assessed before beginning the service. Your safety and the health of your skin are always a priority

6- Payment Policy.  For your convenience, I accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Zelle, AppleCash, Paypal, or Credit/Debit card. Zelle & PayPal: If paying through Zelle or PayPal, please select the Personal/Friends & Family payment option. Please do not include any notes or memos with your payment. If a note or memo is required, please enter your name, my name, or the date of your appointment only. Cash Payments: If paying with cash, please arrive with the exact amount, as change may not be available. Thank you for helping keep the payment process simple and efficient!

7- Manzillain. Please note that a manzillian is a professional service performed in a respectful environment. Proper, respectful etiquette is expected at all times. Any inappropriate comments, gestures, or misconduct will not be tolerated. If at any point our esthetician feels uncomfortable, the service will be immediately stopped and the client will be dismissed from our salon and will still be charged the full service price, regardless of completion. Our priority is to provide a comfortable, safe, and professional experience for every client. If you have booked this service, Please confirm that you acknowledge & understand this policy.
